I had a passenger tell me today just a few hours ago that it was hard for her to get a ride to her medical appointments. I hear this quite often and that's when I had them my card.

Its unbelievable the games they play with drivers. And for what? Greed?

So on Monday and Tuesday they was charging $3.50 for three hours. The calls was not coming in. It was very slow.

I’m in the Palm Springs market and people are using Lyft now. Ubers pricing is horrible. So is Lyfts but on Uber it takes me longer to get a ride. Other drivers aren’t taking Ubers rides either. Almost all the rides are on trip radar now. My acceptance rating is at 35%. It used to be at 8% lol

These companies are going to get rid of drivers eventually. I wouldn't help them with their tests or surveys.

Anytime there’s a new partnership etc… MGM Rewards app passengers arrange a ride to their hotel and the request is automatically connected to Uber drivers for less than it would normally pay. The premier section isn’t so premier anymore. All these casinos do it. Uber’s giving kickbacks to these casinos at the drivers expense. If you’re a driver in Vegas and you know these huge pickup areas at certain casinos. We’re paying for it!!😂 By the time you pick up someone from the airport and get them to their hotel you’ve got 3 different hands in the mix.

They keep lowering pay, drivers keep making private rides.

I bought my XL category mini van because Uber said that they would not take more than 25% of the fare. How did that work out for me? They screwed me. I still have a car payment while earning less. So much for my 75%and take rate. BS scam from Uber

I have a virtual tip jar placard in the back seats and it t says that I do not trust Lyft and Uber with my tips and that they shouldn't either and I do get good tips. I also recruit private rides this way too

Would be nice if Uber did what SkipTheDishes does, whereas, if you keep an AR over 80%, you get paid a minimum of $6 NO MATTER WHAT. (And it's a rolling 10 orders, not 100!!!!!) Skip is absolutely incredible. Uber is the bottom of the barrel, and Doordash is okay. Uber is actually a massive disgrace in 2024. I'd love if they had to back pay me $1 per order for the 6,000 orders I've done over the years, lol...

I wish that we had HUM or YRides in San Diego California. It would be cheaper than commercial insurance and make a lot more money from driving

I just got the Inbox email from uber with regards to them monitoring the speed, stops, phone handling, etc. Literally like an hour ago. I'm here in Vero Beach, FL As far as the nearby drivers, I can only speak for Uber. I pretend I'm going to our airport. There are always 8 cars near my position. Now if I drive 10 minutes north towards the airport and look at the rider side, wow, still 8 cars out but now all near my position again near the airport. So how accurate is that? Or are there more than 8 drivers out? Because there's no way 8 drivers (daily basis now) are suddenly next to me whether I go north or south.

Is anybody getting the "Confirm stop" instead of "Go to next stop" when making a stop, and no time counter appears for wait time? I had to call support each time it happened, and it's happening frequently lately. They compensated between $3-$5-$10 even though the wait was always less than 10 mins, but it's just annoying to have to call every time. Just wondering if this is happening with other drivers.

It is wonderful that you have a mentor making $2000 a month! Working 10, 11, 12+ hours a day day in day out weekend and week out will destroy a person. Burnout will happen very quickly continuing with those kind of hours and at some pointthat amount of hours will cause whatever vehicle they drive to need extensive maintenance. The number of miles they have to put on that vehicle will cause it to need replaced and all this money he thought was being saved will need to be used to pay for a new vehicle. I hope he puts enough money aside for taxes, Maintenance, and replacement of that vehicle in two possibly three years.

Chris has lost his mind. You have to think outside the box he says. Drivers should consider working 45 hours instead of 20, or maybe even working 80 hours instead of 40 to make up the difference when UBER lower rates.

Hi Chris n Sergio when someone ditch their car and used Uber or Lyft for free up to $1000 afterwards what options remain that time Uber start recovering the investment with interest by increasing the ride price. It's generally rider opinion that regularly Uber riders are extremely high compared to own car.

My acceptance rate is 24% because uber does not pay enough. I have to reject so many rides just to get to a profitable ride. If I get only sh*t rides then I stop driving and go home. Uber is at fault for making riders wait longer. Please people do not accept sh*t cheap rides. Don't accept anything less than $10 upfront

I just want to say something, yes, working 12 to 14 hours is crazy. You made a comment the drivers want to make $80 an hour. 8 years ago we were making that kind of money. I know I was. We should not have to work 12 to 14 hours to make that kind of money. I remember having a trip for only 30 minutes and making $100. This was like 5 years ago, but I haven't had anything like that since. Kudos to the driver for making that kind of money but working 80 hours a week is crazy. Working at 12:14 hour day once in awhile, sure no problem. But doing that everyday. 😢

Hi Chris n Sergio Uber is decreasing the price so more rides order come they didn't give that driving more will effects maintenance cost gas consumption. They are trying to pursue those peoples who are working from home to go office reason that's also main cause of weak earnings in first quarter of 2024. Well they decreases the price now I declining long rides ultimately effecting riders. I have heard from riders that two drivers cancelled the rides. So mostly riders are no more arguing with drivers because they know Uber or Lyft not going to deactivate the driver on small small complaints which will cause their earnings loss. I will say that many of the drivers will accept the rides due to their financial obligations.
