How to Unlock the True Ending
Complete Main and Crossed Paths Storylines
To initiate the final chapters of the game and get the true ending, players will have to complete all of the character's main quest and crossed path storylines.
Story Walkthrough and Best Story Order
Complete All Extra Stories and Face the Final Boss
After completing all of the pre-requisite quests, you will be able to initiate a series of quests called Extra Stories. You can start the quest by heading to a campsite at the Southern Cropdale Trail in Leaflands.
Final Chapter Guide
Complete Side-Story Quests Beforehand
It's highly recommended that you finish all of the side stories before you initiate the Extra Stories since this will begin the final three chapters of the game. Once you start the Extra Stories, you won't be able to do any side quests for the duration of the chapters.
Side stories can still be continued, but only after you beat the true final boss of the game to complete the Extra Stories. Make sure not to proceed to the Epilogue after the Extra Stories, as this will mark the end of your journey and complete the game.

True Ending Explained
The Ending Involving All 8 Characters
In the Extra Stories, eternal night descended upon the Solistia just as our main heroes set out to go on their own separate journeys. With a newfound goal to save the world from the enshrouding dark, they embarked on a final journey to find the cause of such a phenomenon.
Eventually, the clues they found led them to relight all of the sacred flames across Solistia, lighting the path toward a way to vanquish the darkness. Following the light, our heroes set sail to the sundering sea, where they make their way to Castle Vidania, the battlefield of the gods, to finally face off against Vide.
The Epilogue Marks the End of the Game
After saving the world from everlasting darkness and returning dawn to its rightful place, the party returns to the campsite where they were before to finally conclude their journey's end. One by one, they say their farewells and start to leave until only the chosen protagonist from the start is left.
After some time has passed, in the City of New Delsta, the members of eight who once embarked on a long journey met again for the first time. Reconciling with most of the friends they met along their journey, they make their way to the Theatre to watch Agnea's performance and thus concluding the traveler's journey.
